Signing up for the NDIS API's

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS STEP IS ONLY REQUIRED IF YOU ARE AN NDIS REGISTERED PROVIDER AND WISH TO USE HICAPS TO CLAIM OR EXCHANGE INFORMATION WITH THE NDIS DIRECTLY. THIS STEP IS NOT REQUIRED FOR PROVIDERS WISHING TO SUBMIT INVOICING TO PLAN MANAGERS.

BEFORE YOU COMPLETE THIS FORM PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE SIGNED UP FOR A HICAPS DIGITAL PORTAL ACCOUNT. IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT, PLEASE SIGN UP BY FOLLOW THIS LINK. 


This form will start the process to onboard your organisation to the NDIS API's using HICAPS. Once this form has been completed, an onboarding case will be opened with our customer service team, who will assist you through the rest of the onboarding process.

The NDIS API Onboarding Process goes through the following stages:
  1. NDIS Declaration - you will be given a declaration to fill in and return to HICAPS, this declaration states that you give LanternPay (a wholly owned subsidiary of HICAPS) permission to access the NDIS API on your behalf. Once this declaration is completed you will need to return this to HICAPS, we will send the declaration to the NDIS for the request to be approved. Note that this declaration will need to be signed by someone who is listed as a signatory on the Australian Business Register for the Business submitting the application.
  2. PRODA Device Setup and activation - This step will involve creating and activating a device in PRODA under your organisation. This device is used by HICAPS to access the API. This device and can be disabled by you at any time, giving you complete control of our access to your participant data.
  3. Verification and LanternPay setup - Once a PRODA device has been activated, HICAPS will verify that everything is setup correctly and finalise your setup. Once final setup steps have been completed we will notify you that everything is operational and ready to go.

Organisation Information

The content in this section of the form will need to match the your business record as it is listed on the Australian Business Register (ABR). This will need to be the entity that is registered with the NDIS. Note that if you do not already have an organisation setup in PRODA, then an organisation will need to be created, this will require a person who is listed on the ABR to complete.
